[Teddy] December 1st
Waking up to a completely changed house is not really new to Billy anymore; the anticipation makes going to bed a little difficult, but waking up to something new is exciting, as always.
Teddy's still asleep when the sun wakes him, and the first thing he sees after he rubs the sleep out of his eyes are somewhat familiar cream colored walls. They're the sort of walls that look exactly like any apartment would have, and as the sounds of what is definitely a city filter in, Billy wonders if he's been sent back home.
Except he looks at Teddy, and Teddy's still in recovery mode, still tanned, and there was no way his mom would let them share a room, let alone sleep together. So no, not home, Billy decides as he gets out of bed, but at least in some sort of city.
As he approaches the window, all he sees is white. Snow is a welcome change, and so is the sight of tall buildings in a city that actually looks modern, not as old as last winter's was.
So modern, in fact, that it looks like New York.
Billy blinks a few times and presses his head to the cold glass. It is New York.
"Ted--" Billy opens the window and laughs as he brushes soft snow off the window sill and the cold wind brushes his hair off his forehead. He ducks back into the room and falls back onto the bed beside Teddy. "Wake up. You're gonna want to see this."

"Hnnh?"
He blinks himself more away and scoots to the edge of the bed, grabbing up his brace and standing, eyes growing more round the closer he gets to the window.
He would do more, but he lets out an excited breath, looking from the familiar skyline to Billy, then back out at the park- his park!- Central Park, pressing his hand to the frosty glass.
